  1. I actually noticed while travelling now that many business/travelling people have made the switch from a laptop to tablet (such as the iPad). All of them have great battery life, wi-fi/3g, and even office applications. You are correct though with the points you mention, the main things I look for in travel laptops is the weight of it (after all, you will be carrying it a lot) and its battery life as there are periods where you won’t be able to charge it.

    Although tablets are better for travel, but if like me you travel and bring work with you I would still prefer a laptop. If you travel because of work and need a high performance travel laptop then ultrabooks would be better options. A good one will be the HP Spectre which aside from being light weight and high performing has a screen made of gorilla glass.
