Atlas Company released “Arm Spirit”, a Japanese arm wrestling video game.
During its release the “Arm Spirit” broke 3 arms.

The spokeswoman Ayano Sakiyama form Atlas Company said “The machine isn’t that strong, much less so than a muscular man. Even women should be able to beat it. We think that maybe some players get overexcited and twist their arms in an unnatural way.”
I will stay away from this gadget anyway.

This is quite bizarre. Interesting that it’s still legal in Japan.
If someone had tried to sell a machine that had broken 3 arms in testing down here in Australia, there’s no way it would be made legal. Or, if it was, it would be on evey tabloid TV show in the country!
Any new toy or gadget that looks like it could be remotely dangerous is quickly removed from Australian shelves. We’re a bit overly cautious in this regard, I think!
