I travel and I need Internet access to write on my blogs so I was happy when I found out about Wi-Fire.

The Wi-Fire uses a powerful directional antenna, highly sensitive receiver and proprietary software to find and enhance normal WiFi signals.

Wi-Fire it is very easy to use: install the Wi-Fire Connection Manager, plug the Wi-Fire into an available USB port and you are done you will have network.

The Wi-Fire should get you to access to wireless Internet connection from up to 1,000 feet(300 meters), away–three times the range of your internal wireless adapter.

I put the Wi-Fire to a comparative test against my normal wireless USB adapter. My wireless USB adapter founded only one network -my own (i use a wireless router), the Wi-Fire founded 6 networks. I don’t know far are the networks found by Wi-Fire but it is obvious it far more better than a regular wireless USB adapter.

Every Wi-Fire works with Windows XP and Vista and on Mac OS X 10.3 and up, including Leopard.
The price for this hi tech gadget is $79.00. You can buy it from the hField Technologies store.
