Sony launched 2 digital camera performers called NEX-3 and NEX-5.

NEX3 from Sony delivers DSLR picture quality that won’t weigh you down. Sony’s compact, easy to use NEX-3 comes with interchangeable lenses and HD video.
Sony NEX-3 delivers 14.2 megapixels Exmor APS HD CMOS sensor, HD movie, 7.5cm LCD, Sweep Panorama. 16mm lens.
Sony NEX-5
Sony NEX-5 is one of the world’s smallest and lightest interchangeable-lens camera. The 14.2-megapixel CMOS sensor on this camera is the same size as the one built into Sony’s full-sized SLR cameras.
The 14.2-megapixel sensor makes the difference when it comes to taking photos.
With a sensitivity which reaches ISO 12,800 NEX5A provides clear, pin-sharp pictures even in low lighting conditions.
I am really impressed after knowing the resolution of 14.2-megapixel which will really make a difference.

It’s a nice product having nice features. 14.2 megapiexel is a bonus point and pin sharp pics even in less lighting conditions is a cool one. It’s only with the look that makes it a little old fashioned. But over all it’s a good one.

I agree the look of the camera is a little unimpressive. It looks like it is old. But it does sound like some great add ons and the megapixels should create a nice photo. I guess looks are not what you should judge a product on.
