Shopping for a new printer
Since I have start the gadgets shopping season I will continue to show you some buy gadgets tips.
The best way to inform yourself before buying a new gadget is to read some product reviews, the best reviews will be found on specialized blogs.

Check the prices of the replacement ink also.
Is this a touchscreen LCD on the top ?
Wow, nice printer
Why is the picture the same for printers one and three???
Are they the same printer???
If so, buy the one that costs less.

This looks good but I need a cheap printer (all in one) mainly for scanning purpose and casual printing (text only). Can you suggest any model?
very good printer
very nice
solves most of the purposes
To give the best advice – I would need to know what type of documents you would be printing most of:-
1. High Quality Photos
2. General b&w print outs, like reports/invoices.
The HP 1020 is an excellent printer. I have one and really like the fact that it uses a very small footprint on my desk. One problem though is that it doesn’t have any drivers for Macintosh. Besides that I’m really impressed with how well it works with my Windows PC.
Hi,
I have had an HP Laserjet 6L for about five years now, and I have never had a problem with it. It just keeps on working time after time and the best thing I like the most is the low cost for a replacement cartridge.
I would buy a cheap printer for doing color prints for photos etc. and buy a laser as well for regular duty because of the lower cost for cartridges for lasers as opposed to color cartridges. I hardly replace my laser cartridge more than once every two years. I also pay for photo prints online as I don’t want the hassle of the lack of reliability with color printers.
I just bought this Hewlett Packard Photosmart D7160 InkJet Printer yesterday and I’ve been running tests on it all day, i would say its Easy to use. Easy install. Good price. Economical to run – cheap ink.
I am with George Jr, the Hewlett Packard Photosmart D7160 InkJet Printer is a good choice.
I am curious, what did you end up getting?
I’ve used the Canon model before and it does a great job. The print output is excellent.
