Previously, Hewlett-Packard, or HP as they are now recognized, was one of the innovators in the computer industry. However they just became a mass market computer manufacturer. As luck would have it, after all these years, they have at last come back to respectability and innovation. For example, one may look at the HP Pavilion Elite HPE-180t. It employs the processing power of Intel’s i7 CPU, and combines it with plenty of storage and available RAM. This gives plenty of power to create slide shows or flicks, as well as edit high-definition content.

buyamzon button Why The HP Pavilion Elite HPE 180t Needs to Be Your Choice Of PC For Multimedia Requirements

The HPE-180t’s base processor will suit most people’s computer needs but you have the option to upgrade it to a more powerful PC. This HP computer’s standard processor is the amazingly fast Intel i7 920 Quad Core processor that clocks in at an incredible 2.66 GHz. The next step for having a high performance computer is memory, and 8GB of DDR3-1066MHz RAM is what this PC from HP is equipped with. This amount of RAM is so much more than what you find on many computers on the market nowadays, but you can still upgrade to even more memory if you want.

Since the HPE-180t is a multimedia PC, it also comes installed with an outstanding graphics processor. The ATI Radeon HD 4650 graphics card boasting 1GB of video memory comes with the base price. The graphics card is upgradable to the ATI Radeon HD 4850 or the NVIDIA GeForce GT 220, both of which have 1GB of video memory.

A third option is the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260 which comes with 1.8GB of video memory. This alternative is mainly for the heavy gamers, but works equally well for processing multimedia. The base-priced version of the HP Pavilion Elite HPE-180t also has HP’s famous LightScribe 16x CD/DVD burner and reader. This computer from HP will be able to burn all standard DVD and CD formats plus have the option to upgrade to a Blu-Ray disk burner. 7.1 channel surround sound has been integrated in the standard HPE-180t personal computer. Like the rest, it can be upgraded for a more amazing sound experience.

Additional standard features include an HP multimedia keyboard that comes with optical mouse. Again, you may upgrade so you get a wireless mouse and wireless keyboard. The standard model price does not include a monitor but you will be able to find a few great packaged deals. Even though the standard price may seem somewhat high compared to other personal computers, you should be able to find discount offers at HP’s own web site. Not everyone has to go out and get this PC.

If you are a multimedia enthusiast, then the HPE-180t provides you a very good number of alternatives. Even though you can’t go wrong with the standard model, you do have a lot of fantastic options to upgrade to make it just the way you want it. The HPE-180t is well worth the cost, if you are looking for a personal computer for multimedia purposes.

Panting computers are commonly caused by these factors:

  • Overheating – this will occur if the machine has no rest. Too much usage of the PC will overheat the system and will lead to PC’s slow performance.

  • Flooding files – most of the times PC users forgot to clean up their files. In result, all the files will flood in the system. The flooding files are composed of cloned files or the duplicate files. These flooding files will consume the hard drive and will weaken the performance of the PC.

  • Too many programs that are running at the same time – there are times that computer users are fond of using more than one program at the same time. The programs are like racing and will deteriorate the speed of the PC.

Wireless networks

Wireless network refers to any type of computer network that is wireless, and is commonly associated with a telecommunications network whose interconnections between nodes are implemented without the use of wires. Wireless telecommunications networks are generally implemented with some type of remote information transmission system that uses electromagnetic waves, such as radio waves, for the carrier and this implementation usually takes place at the physical level or "layer" of the network. Wireless network is a network set up by using radio signal frequency to communicate among computers and other network devices. Sometimes it’s also referred to as Wi-Fi network or WLAN. This network is getting popular nowadays due to easy to setup feature and no cabling involved. You can connect computers anywhere in your home without the need for wires.

Wi-Fi has a lot of advantages. Wireless networks are easy to set up and inexpensive. They’re also unobtrusive. When the computer sends out the data, the binary data will be encoded to radio frequency and transmitted via wireless router. The receiving computer will then decode the signal back to binary data. The two main components are wireless router or access point and wireless clients. If you have not set up any wired network, then just get a wireless routerclip image001 thumb Wireless networks and attach it to cable/DSL modem. You then set up wireless client by adding wireless cardclip image0011 thumb Wireless networks to each computer and form a simple wireless network. You can also cable connect computer directly to router if there are switch ports available

A wireless router is a device used to allow access to the Internet or a computer network without the need for a cabled connection. Wireless router or access points should be installed in a way that maximizes coverage as well as throughput. The coverage provided is generally referred to as the coverage cell. Large areas usually require more than one access point in order to have adequate coverage. You can also add access point to your existing wireless router to improve coverage. The internet contains lists of the top ten router that will be the best buy in terms of security, cost and quality.

The major disadvantage of the wireless networks is the lack of network security. There are various hackers software available, even for free downloads on the net, which can be used to gain access to a wireless network. To prevent this, improvisations have been made on the routers. Wireless Routers now incorporate firewall features with internet connection sharing and networking facility. They are the modified versions of hard wired routers or networking software. Wireless Routers are customized wired routers provided with built in wireless access points. These built in access points enable you to have wireless as well as wired routers at the same time. Moreover, today you will find wireless routers with a built in DSL or cable modem. This modified version of router offers you a hardware/software security combo box that is designed to guard your home network.

What I like about it

First I love all in one printers because I remember the days my desk was full: the printer in one corner and the scanner in the next one. To have it all in one it takes less space and eliminates the compatibility issues (I still remember the days my scanner wasn’t compatible with the printer and I hade to install one and uninstall the other),

The only downside of having an all in one printer is if the a part is out of order you will remain without all.

Second I like the Canon printers quality. Over the years I worked with 7-8 Canon Printers and only one made me problems. The rest were super: fast, good printing quality, easy to use and the printer costs were affordable.

I thing Pixma MP640 WiFi will work well in your home or office.
